as new voter’s in voters’ enrollment list for the general election 2019
The department had organized a stage show depicting the spirit of Quit India Movement to multi disciplinary students of the college on Aug 2018 on the occasion of 76th anniversary of Quit India Movement.

Ø The department has conducted various competitions with
respect to 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi
represented by Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi, Vijayawada.
Ø The department has taken pledge in
respect to Constitution Celebrations.
Ø The department organized a Guest lecture on 18.01.19
to B.A. students on the topic ‘Political Philosophy’. The resource person was
Dr. Illa Ravi (Principal, Govt. Degree College, Avanigadda).
- The department has organised Human Chain, Signature Campaign, Rally, Rangoli Competitions and taken pledge on voting awareness. The theme of the program was to encourage young voters aware of of their voting right.
Field Trip to the II B.A (Lit,HEP,SW&Jour) to Chennai escorted by 3 lecturers. The places visited were Birla Planitorium, Mahabalipuram and Connemara Public Library.
